Quest for Respect
Wednesday, November 19
On Wednesday, November 19, Camfel will return to The ROC with 90 feet of screen, three projectors, awesome music as well as movie and sports clips to present “Quest for Respect.” This production examines the need to be accepted, loved and respected. Unfortunately, the self worth of many is based on the number of likes on Facebook or how many positive comments are received after posting the latest “selfie.” Somehow it is perceived that the more exposed people are, the more admired they are. But, in reality they are just more exposed. Quest for Respect will also examine the willingness of many to compromise values in an attempt to find a place to fit in. It will also explore the rationale for getting involved in the wrong things and aligning with bullies in order to find acceptance. In addition, this production will demonstrate that true respect is a by-product of how lives are lived each day, and will teach how to react in crisis and how to treat others.
