Prayer

We believe continual, spirit-led prayer is key to leading people to Christ and essential to all we do as a church.

Prayer Services

We have a 6 PM prayer service Sunday nights that lasts about one hour. The Worship Center opens at 5:30 PM so you may come early and prepare your heart to encounter God.

Each week’s service will include the testimony of a church member. We want to hear stories of answered prayer and the grace of God in our lives. Most importantly, we will learn to pray…as we pray.

Meets every Wednesday from
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the Chapel.

House of Prayer

Prayerfully consider dedicating an hour each week to intercessory prayer. Contact the Pastoral Office at 770-603-8502 to find an hour that will fit your schedule. Prayer is the greatest privilege of a Christian and yields the greatest power to those who practice it!

The Prayer Room is staffed by FBJ prayer warriors who volunteer an hour each week. Their primary task is prayer but they are also available to answer the Prayer Line and write prayer cards for encouragement. Volunteers must be adult church members.

A small room at the front of the house designed for small groups of 5-8 people, The Mission’s Room may be reserved by adult church members by contacting the church office during office hours. Please make reservations 48 hours in advance of need.

The Gathering Room is the largest of the prayer areas, made up of two adjoining rooms, which accommodates up to 25 people. This room may be reserved only by an individual in a leadership position at FBJ (minister, Life Group leader, deacon, etc.) and must be reserved through the church office during office hours. Please make reservations 48 hours in advance of need.

A peaceful place to spend some time with the Lord in an
old-fashioned rocking chair. This room is available to adult church members from 9 AM to 4 PM Mondays through Thursdays, and from 9 AM to noon on Fridays. You may pick up a key at the church office.
