2023 Family Advent Guide
Merry Christmas! Christmas is an exciting time where families can see how God has given us hope, love, joy, and peace! Each week’s devotion will explore one of these themes as you open the Bible as a family and read a part of the Christmas story. After you read the story, discuss the questions to help get the conversation started and connect the story from Scripture to your kids’ lives.
We are happy you are here at FBJ Kids! Your children are important to us and we want to make sure your first visit with us is enjoyable, for the entire family, from the moment you arrive on our campus to the moment you leave.
We ask that you prepare in advance for the check-in process of your child(ren) to take several minutes. We will need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, physical address, email address, phone numbers (home & cell), and any allergies or special needs for each child. This information will be entered into our Kids secure check-in system which allows families to use any of our check-in kiosks, located in the lobby of our Kids building, on all future visits.
Allergy information is printed on your child’s check-in name tag, but please make sure all leaders and volunteers are aware of your child’s allergy. If your child has a severe allergy (i.e. peanuts) we have special signs we will post on the classroom doors to maintain your child’s safety. If a special food item will be given during snack time, we will always place allergy alert signs on the classroom doors to inform parents of these items and the ingredients.
Your child’s safety and security is our first priority. All Kids leaders & volunteers have been screened and have passed a background check.
Our check-in system prints multiple security tags – a name tag with your child’s name, a pick up tag, and a diaper bag tag (infants – 2year old) – you will be required to present your pick up tag to the adult leader in your child’s classroom in order to retrieve your child after services. Please do not send siblings to pick up younger children.
We also employ several off-duty police officers, as well as our own security team.
