Young Adults
We want our Young Adults to learn to love the Lord and to love people by serving them and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them. Our Young Adults meet weekly on Sunday morning and Thursday nights.
Adults
Our greatest need is Jesus. We also need healthy connections with our family, friends, church, and community. Come connect with other adults who are actively seeking God.
Marriage and Family
Whether you are taking the first steps into a relationship, a veteran couple, or anywhere in between, we have resources and activities to strengthen and help you on the journey.
Kids
From birth – 5th grade, we engage kids with God’s truth through age-appropriate activities, Bible study, worship, and kingdom service.
Senior Adults
We are thankful for the many great attributes our senior adults have, including their wisdom, experiences, resources, and willingness to serve in many ways. As a senior adult, we want to welcome you to an amazing group of people who are just like you.
Students
FBJ’s Student Ministry is done in the context of relationships. We believe anyone’s most important relationship is a personal one with Jesus Christ.
Recreation
We want you to join us in bettering yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually. We have a variety of ministry programs and activities throughout the course of the year to get plugged into, and if there is something that you do not see, please ask! We would love to see you soon!
Missions
Our missions ministry seeks “to glorify God by making disciples who invest in other people and impact the nations.” Come learn how you can GO on mission with FBJ.
Prayer Ministry
We Believe that prayer is the lifeline of FBJ that connects us to our heavenly Father. Attend our Wedesday Prayer service or spend time in our House of Prayer and deepen your walk with God through prayer.
Support Groups
We all long to be connected, to know and be known. Our groups strive to help you connect with the Lord and others.
Biblical Counseling
The Jonesboro Biblical Counseling Center is a ministry of First Baptist Jonesboro that offers Biblical counseling services for couples, individual adults, teens, children, and families. We use Biblical principles to address life problems
Music
Voices and Instruments help create an atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God! Join our team of musicians using their talents to give God glory.
Fig Tree Cafe
It is our prayer that Fig Tree Café would stand as a symbol of God’s blessing over Jonesboro. A place where diverse people gather as one community, a place of shelter from the storms of life, a place to find strength among friends, and a place where physical and spiritual needs can be satisfied.
Language Congregations
In addition to English, we have several different congregations that each worship in their own languages. All these congregations make up one big church family at First Baptist Jonesboro.
